Anesthesia and Analgesia

Intubación traqueal en un perro

Our hospital has the human and technical equipment needed for a safely sedation and general anesthesia.

After a pre-anesthetic assessment (blood test, X ray and electrocardiogram, depending on the patient) we chose the sedation and anesthetic protocol most appropriate for each case.

Throughout the procedure, from the time of premedication to their recovery, a veterinarian will monitor the patient. For this, we have multiparameter noninvasive monitoring: electrocardiogram, oximeter, capnograph, noninvasive blood pressure meter, heart rate, breathing rate and body temperature.

To avoid pain is one of our priorities, for which we use the most appropiate drugs and analgesic techniques for each intervention.
